The trio attack Bing Yao simultaneously. They are eventually trapped in the ice of his Freezing Technique. As Liu Jing is about to deal the finishing blow, Bing Yao is rescued by the appearance of Tie Luo. Elsewhere, Song Meiniang confronts Chen Qiaoqian about what she talked about with Han Li back in the courtyard, teasing her about her affection for Junior Han. Tie Luo holds them off while Bing Yao goes to demonize himself. Song Meng uses Glacier Wind Spear on the blood cocoon, also to no effect. None of their attacks prove fruitful. Han Li deals with Tie Luo. He uses Azure Essence Sword Art: Mirage Cloning Technique. Han Li pins him down with threads, and successfully cuts off his arm again. When Ye She attacks one of the Junior Xue, Song Meng switches with Han Li, who goes to heal the junior off his poison. Han Li recognizes Ye She as Wu Jiuzhi. Qing Wen is also surprised to see Han Li again.
