Li Huayuan (李化元) was a renown Core Formation elder of the Yellow Maple Valley Sect originating from the State of Yue on the Heavenly South Continent. He had a Foundation Establishment wife surnamed Zan[1]. As an elder of the Yellow Maple Valley he had several personal disciples. However, he would not personally train them. Instead he chose to leave them to their own devices.

He joined the Yellow Maple Valley alongside Hong Fu and Wang Yu. He couldn't reach the top nor stay low, so he simply accepted disciples and kept working at it.[2]
